McKayla Rose Maroney (also known as "Mack Air Maroney") is an American famous gymnast. She won gold with team US Olympian gymnastics team and also a silver individual gold medal in the Summer Olympic Games in 2012. It was her involvement with sports when she was a kid which inspired her to take up gymnastics. She is a vault specialist and is the only athlete who is defending one gold medal in this event that she took home at the 2011 World Championship and later won at the 2013 Championship.
