Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler has a similar fashion to The Cinema Snob, but she tends to obsessively watching dumb action films. After earning some recognition through the channels on Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa), she began to write reviews in late 2009. At the beginning of 2015, she stayed on the site while Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts which are about the Charmed franchise. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones starred her in Jesus Bro! He has also had her appear as a guest in numerous episodes of his series Midnight Screenings. She reviews awful films for kids or RiffTrax programs, and also sometimes adult-oriented films (including Baywatch (2017)). The first time she reviewed movies was in 2009. After gaining fame on Channel Awesome forums, she was invited into the Reviewer group. She's appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a part of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and would often appear in episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
